Wood Warranty

Lane Furniture
warrants to the original purchaser that for ONE YEAR from the date of
purchase Lane Furniture will, at it’s discretion, repair or replace any
piece of furniture that is found to be defective in material or
workmanship.
|
It is required that
you notify the Retailer from whom you purchased your furniture of any
defect found within one year from the date of purchase. After receiving
notification of a claim, it may be necessary for your Retailer or Lane to
arrange for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether or not a
defect exists.
|
Repairs will be
attempted as the preferred resolution method in all cases. However, if the
Retailer, Lane, or an authorized representative of Lane determines that
repair is impractical, the Retailer will furnish a substitute unit of the
same or similar color, design, style and quality. Lane will honor
reasonable and customary labor charges during this warranty period for the
purpose of repair or replacement of warranty parts. An authorized Lane
Furniture Retailer or a Lane Furniture Certified Service Agent should
perform warranty service.

This warranty
protects you only when you purchase your furniture from an Authorized Lane
Furniture Retailer and is only applicable for normal household use, not
for commercial use.

Proper care and use
are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. Lane will not
repair or replace your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use
causes damage. This warranty does not apply if your Lane product is
damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning
agents. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence,
abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents including burns, cuts,
scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentions or pet damage. This
warranty does not cover floor samples or products designated “AS IS”
at the time of purchase.

Lane Furniture
will not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. Lane
Furniture Industries, Inc. will not be liable for any loss, expense, or
damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in
the furniture. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you.

Lane Furniture
makes no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose. These and all other implied warranties are specifically
disclaimed. Some states do not allow an exclusion or limitation on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may
not apply to you.

Your
Warranty Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights that vary from state to state. Except for such other rights, the
remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of Lane Furniture
Industries, Inc.’s responsibilities. |
